Traditional online PDF tools upload your documents to remote cloud servers to perform actions like merging, splitting, compressing, or editing. Just A PDF Editor operates fundamentally differently.

Our application uses modern WebAssembly (WASM) and client-side JavaScript technologies. When you open a PDF inside Just A PDF Editor, the entire execution takes place in your browser's isolated sandbox memory. Your files never leave your computer or mobile device.

Because processing occurs entirely on your device, we have zero access to your data. To be 100% explicit, we do NOT collect or store:

• Document Content: Text, images, forms, or metadata contained within your PDF files.
• Personal Identification Details: Your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
• Technical Identifiers: Your IP address, device fingerprints, or MAC addresses.
• Usage Activity: File names, file sizes, editing frequency, or action histories.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers.

We may only utilize your browser's standard localStorage strictly to save your personal UI preferences—such as your preferred color theme (Dark Mode vs Light Mode) or default tool settings. This data resides strictly on your machine and is never transmitted to us.

Since we do not collect, hold, or process any personal details or user documents, it is impossible for us to sell, trade, license, or share your data with any third party, government entity, or advertiser.

The safest way to protect user data from server breaches and leaks is to never transmit data to a server in the first place. By shifting 100% of the workload to your client device, we eliminate server-side vulnerabilities and data leak risks entirely.
